Juan Tovar

Juan Tovar is an engineer with over 41 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, a Mechanical Engineer from de UCV and a MSc in PE from Heriot-Watt University in Endinburgh, Scotland. Started his career as a field enginer with Dowell Schlumberger in Venezuela and worked in the UAE, Libya, the North Sea (UK & Norway) and Algeria for 9 years. Moved to Italy to work for the SIAT as the R&D manager for Coiled Tubing and well intervention operations. In 1994 co-founded IESL in aberdeen, Scotland. An engineering and techonology company that specialises in geomechanics, well construction, completion and production engineering projects, the company has successfully executed over 500 projects worlwide.
